THE IGBO AND THEIR NEIGHBORS: COHESION FOR SOLIDARITY .

The upcoming World Igbo Congress Convention holding in Detroit September 3-6, 2015.
It is heartwarming that there appears to be some convergence between the intentions of the WIC in this Convention and the Mission of the Lower Niger Congress which is already being pursued full throttle especially as it relates to the restoring brotherly cohesion between the Igbo and it’s neighbours in the rest of the Niger Delta, being the most formation of engaging the ceaselessly vicious aggression by the rest of Nigeria, upon the Lower Niger
In this regard, Lower Niger Congress (LNC) is happy to report concrete progress since it’s early beginnings about a decade ago and especially since after its formal inauguration in Warri, 2009.
Built on grassroots network, the LNC rallied the Region into decisive action when in the aftermath of the 2015 electoral heist, it Convened a SOLEMN ASSEMBLY OF THE PEOPLES OF THE LOWER NIGER IN PORT HARCOURT 27th April 2015 at which the historic decision to go to a Referendum on Self-determination was taken. The was followed by exploratory diplomatic swings by an LNC team  to the US,  Europe.
The LNC will, in its presentation at the Detroit WIC Convention, be presenting for evaluation and adoption, proposals that completely ties in with and advances the objectives of the Convention as regards the search for self-redemption from the burning House of Lugard. Happy deliberations
God bless
Tony Nnadi
Secretary-General
LOWER NIGER CONGRESS.
